BEFORE USING Flonase:

SHAKE GENTLY before using a dose of Flonase. FOR BEST RESULTS: continue using Flonase for the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Do not miss any Flonase doses. STORE Flonase at room temperature, away from heat and light. IF YOU MISS A DOSE OF Flonase, use Flonase as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next Flonase dose, skip the missed Flonase dose and go back to your regular Flonase dosing schedule.

Flonase CAUTIONS :

DO NOT EXCEED THE RECOMMENDED Flonase DOSE OR USE Flonase FOR LONGER THAN PRESCRIBED without checking with your doctor. Your symptoms should improve within a few days, however it may take up to 3 weeks for Flonase to reach its full effect. DO NOT USE Flonase for future nasal problems without checking with your doctor. AVOID GETTING Flonase IN YOUR EYES. IF YOU HAVE NOT HAD CHICKENPOX OR MEASLES, avoid contact with anyone who has any of these diseases. Flonase MAY AFFECT GROWTH RATE in children. Your child's growth should be checked regularly while using Flonase. FOR WOMEN: IF YOU PLAN ON BECOMING PREGNANT, discuss with your doctor the benefits and risks of using Flonase during pregnancy. IT IS UNKNOWN IF Flonase IS EXCRETED in breast milk. IF YOU ARE OR WILL BE BREAST-FEEDING while you are using Flonase, check with your doctor or pharmacist to discuss the risks of Flonase to your baby.

POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS OF Flonase:

Flonase SIDE EFFECTS, that may go away during treatment, include sneezing, stuffy nose, or an unpleasant taste or smell. If Flonase side effects continue or are bothersome, check with your doctor. CHECK WITH YOUR DOCTOR AS SOON AS POSSIBLE if you experience nosebleeds or nose or throat pain. IF YOU EXPERIENCE difficulty breathing; tightness of chest; swelling of eyelids, face, or lips, or if you develop a rash or hives, tell your doctor immediately. Do not take any more Flonase doses of Flonase unless your doctor tells you to do so. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist.
